|Per Ledin joins the Swedish Elite League|
Kingfish forward Per Ledin has announced today that he will be leaving the club. Ledin has been offered a two year contract by Lulea, in the Swedish Elite League.
The 21-year-old native of Sweden cited many reasons for departing midway through this season. He will be playing in his hometown, making more money in a better leaguue (the Swedish Elite League is comparable to the AHL or IHL), getting a multi-year contract and the opportunity to play with ex-NHLers like Mikhael Renberg.
Ledin had been scheduled to sign autographs in the Mall of Louisiana tonight from 7:00-8:00 with Sylvain Dufresne. He has informed me that although Ronalds Ozolinsh will take his place he may very well make an appearance at the Mall to bid farewell to Kingfish fan.
