The Kingfish ended a four game winless stretch with a victory over Augusta on Saturday. Sunday afternoon in Lafayette the Fish bested the IceGators 4-3 in a shoot out. The win over Louisiana was the first in the Cajundome  since November of 1999. Goaltender Paxton Schafer made a team record 51 saves (42 in the last two periods) in the win over Augusta. Travis Scott also had 51 saves in a 6-1 loss to the IceGators in Feb. of 1998. Kingfish Head Coach David Lohrei decision go with Schafer on Sunday was the first time this season he opted not to alternate his starting goalie.
