The Kingfish will attempt to avoid going 0-3 at the start of the season. In Bob McGill’s first year the club dropped their first two games before making the playoffs for the first time in team history. Kingfish Head Coach David Lohrei feels this weeks games will prove to be tough ones. Lohrei feels that the South Carolina Stingrays have the best team in the league on paper.

Thur., Oct. 19, vs. South Carolina 7:05P Riverside Centroplex
This will be the only meeting between the two clubs this season. The Stingrays eliminated the Kingfish in two straight games in last season’s wild card playoff round.

Fri., Oct. 20, vs. Mobile 7:05P Riverside Centroplex
The Kingfish host the Mysticks in the first of three meetings in Baton Rouge this season. The Mysticks won three of five games between the clubs last year.

Sat. Oct.21, in New Orleans 7:05P New Orleans Arena
Hibernia action begins for the Brass in this first of ten meetings. The Kingfish managed a 3-5 record against the Brass last season.
All Kingfish games are broadcast on WIBR 1300 The Sports Animal.
