LEITZA REACHES ALL-STAR BREAK IN ALL-STAR FORM

Since the turn of the New Year Kingfish All-Star goaltender Brian Leitza has been finding wins far and few between. Leitza snapped a six game winless drought on Wednesday with a 4-2 victory over New Orleans. Saturday night he registered his fourth (league leading) shut out of the season versus Arkansas. In the six games the Kingfish failed to score more than two goals and Leitza, despite playing stellar, drew the losses. The lanky netminder will be involved in the rapid fire segment of the ECHL All-Star Skills Competition on Monday, Feb. 12. He will then see action in the 2001 All-Star game on Tuesday night in Little Rock, Arkansas. The All-Star Game will be telecast on ESPN2 on Wednesday at noon CST.
