KINGFISH EKE OUT PAIR OF WEEKEND VICTORIES

The Kingfish reached the 50 point plateau on the weekend, two weeks earlier than last season. It didn’t come by easily. Friday night in North Little Rock, Arkansas the Fish rallied to tie the game up and send it to overtime. The game was finally decided in a shoot out with the sixth shooter (Shane Calder). Sunday afternoon the Fish fought off a feverish Brass attack in the dying moments to seal victory. Centerman Mike Rucinski became the first Kingfish player to score 20 this season with his first of two in the game. The four point weekend moves the Fish up a notch in the standings and sitting only four points out of fourth in the Southern Conference standings.
